Hunter Gatherer AHP are recruiting for a Locum Occupational Therapist to join an award-winning private neurological rehabilitation centre in Kent.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist service providing intensive rehabilitation for adults with a range of neurological conditions resulting from brain injury, illness and disease. Based within a beautiful 12-acre rehabilitation setting, you'll become part of a highly experienced multidisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.

The Role:

  • Manage a specialist neurological rehabilitation caseload.
  • Complete comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and formulate individualised treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to maximise independence and functional outcomes.
  • Assess and recommend appropriate equipment and environmental adaptations.
  • Work closely with patients, families and carers to support rehabilitation goals.
  • Participate in MDT meetings and contribute to collaborative discharge planning.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in line with HCPC standards.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working within neurological rehabilitation, brain injury or complex rehabilitation settings.
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning and clinical reasoning skills.
  • Excellent communication and multidisciplinary working abilities.
  • Previous inpatient neuro rehabilitation experience is highly desirable.
