Hunter Gatherer AHP are recruiting for a Locum Occupational Therapist to join a specialist neurological rehabilitation service in Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dedicated Level 2 neurological rehabilitation service supporting adults aged 18 and over recovering from brain injury, stroke and other neurological conditions. You'll be part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team committed to delivering outstanding, person-centred rehabilitation and helping individuals achieve the highest level of independence possible.

The Role:

  • Manage a specialist neurological rehabilitation caseload.

  • Complete comprehensive occupational therapy assessments.

  • Develop and deliver evidence-based treatment programmes.

  • Assess for equipment and environmental adaptations.

  • Work collaboratively within the MDT to support rehabilitation goals.

  • Participate in discharge planning and goal setting.

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.

  • Experience within neurological rehabilitation, stroke or acquired brain injury.

  • Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.

  • Excellent communication and MDT working abilities.

  • Previous inpatient neuro rehabilitation experience is desirable.
