Locum Pharmacy Technician – Stansted, Essex – £20–£25 per Hour – Immediate Start

Hunter Gatherer AHP is currently recruiting multiple Locum Pharmacy Technicians to support a specialist medical cannabis service based in Stansted, Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity for Pharmacy Technicians from any professional background, including community, hospital and primary care, to gain experience within a growing specialist healthcare sector.

The client is looking for several Pharmacy Technicians to start immediately, with both part-time and full-time opportunities available.

Job Details

• Job Title: Locum Pharmacy Technician

• Location: Stansted, Essex (near Stansted Airport)

• Pay Rate: £20–£25 per hour

• Start Date: ASAP / Immediate Start

• Contract: Locum

• Working Days: Part-time or full-time available

• Working Location: 100% On-Site – No Remote Working

• Setting: Specialist Medical Cannabis Service

Key Responsibilities

• Take structured patient medical histories using established clinical templates.

• Gather and accurately document relevant patient information.

• Provide patients with basic information regarding medical cannabis regulations, rules and legal requirements.

• Support the wider clinical team with patient onboarding and administrative clinical processes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.

• Work within established clinical protocols and escalate queries to appropriate clinicians when required.

• Support the efficient day-to-day operation of the service.

Requirements

• Qualified Pharmacy Technician with GPhC registration.

• All pharmacy backgrounds considered – hospital, community, GP/primary care and other settings.

• Strong communication and patient interaction skills.

• Confident gathering patient information and maintaining accurate clinical records.

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Previous medical cannabis experience is NOT required.

• Available to start at short notice.

• Must be able to commute to Stansted, Essex, for on-site working.
