Hunter Gatherer AHP are currently recruiting for an experienced Pharmacy Dispenser to join an NHS hospital in East London for an immediate start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Pharmacy Dispenser looking to gain or further develop their hospital pharmacy experience within a busy outpatient dispensary.
Job Title: Locum Pharmacy Dispenser
Location: East London – NHS Hospital
Pay Rate: Up to £17.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Start Date: ASAP – Immediate Start
Contract Length: 2–3 months initially
Working Days: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
Working Hours: 9:00am–5:30pm
Hours: 3 days per week
Setting: Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy
Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently within a busy outpatient pharmacy.
Labelling, assembling and preparing medications for patients.
Supporting pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with day-to-day dispensary operations.
Processing prescriptions and ensuring medications are supplied in a timely manner.
Maintaining accurate dispensing records and stock levels.
Following NHS pharmacy procedures, medicines management policies and safety standards.
Providing excellent patient service within the outpatient dispensary.
Previous pharmacy dispensing experience (hospital or community pharmacy).
NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services qualification or equivalent desirable.
Good understanding of dispensing procedures and medication safety.
Ability to work efficiently within a busy pharmacy environment.
Available to start immediately or at short notice.
Ideally able to commit to Monday, Tuesday and Thursday each week.
