What You’ll Be Doing:
Join the service as a Specialist Paediatric OT, supporting children and young people with sensory processing and functional needs. In this role, you will:
• Complete specialist OT assessments
• Assess sensory processing needs
• Create clear intervention plans and recommendations
• Support children, young people and families
• Work independently on an ad-hoc basis
• Provide high-quality clinical reports where required
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working with children and young people
• Sensory Integration experience
• Ayres Sensory Integration certification, or Sensory Integration Levels 1 to 3
• Ideally membership of the RCOT specialist section for Children, Young People and Families
• Strong assessment, report writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage ad-hoc referrals
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a flexible ad-hoc role, with work offered as and when required. The position would suit a specialist Paediatric OT looking for additional flexible work alongside existing commitments.
