Duration: Summer leave cover (with potential extension)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7.5-hour shifts between 08:30–20:00

What You'll Be Doing:

Join a leading private hospital as an Outpatient Pharmacist and play a key role in delivering an outstanding patient-focused pharmacy service. In this role, you will:

• Act as the Responsible Pharmacist within the outpatient pharmacy
• Clinically screen and dispense outpatient prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Provide expert counselling and advice to patients regarding their medicines
• Ensure medicines are supplied safely, legally and in line with GPhC standards
• Work closely with consultants, nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Promote the safe and effective use of medicines while maintaining excellent patient care
• Participate in the clinical pharmacy service where appropriate

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Current GPhC registration
• Previous hospital outpatient pharmacy experience (essential)
• Strong clinical screening and dispensing skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Ability to work independently as the Responsible Pharmacist
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role is Monday to Friday with rotating 7.5-hour shifts between 08:30 and 20:00, including:

• 08:30–17:00
• 09:30–18:00
• 11:30–20:00

A one-hour lunch break is provided. Candidates must be able to work all shift patterns as required. This is a summer leave cover position with the possibility of extension.
