Sonographer – Private Independent Clinic | East London

Hunter Gatherer AHP are recruiting for a Sonographer to join a well-established private independent imaging clinic in East London on a flexible locum basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for Sonographers looking for 1–2 days per week, with flexible working days and a mixture of gynaecology and general ultrasound work. Cover is required from the end of July throughout August, with regular sessions available to cover annual leave.

The Role

• Location: East London
• Start: End of July / Early August
• Duration: Throughout August (with specific dates available)
• Days: 1–2 days per week
• Hours: Typically 10:00am–5:00pm (occasionally 10:00am–4:00pm)
• Pay: £45–£60 per hour DOE
• Interview: Microsoft Teams

Scan Types

• Predominantly Non-Obstetric Ultrasound
• Gynaecology scans
• Pelvic scans
• Transvaginal (internal) scans
• Testicular scans
• Abdominal scans
• Follicle monitoring
• Some Obstetric scanning desirable

The Clinic

• Modern private imaging service
• Samsung ultrasound machines
• Self-referring patient population
• Maximum of 4 patients per hour (often fewer depending on scan requirements)

The client is happy to consider both experienced Sonographers and those earlier in their career, with rates offered depending on experience.
