Are you a newly qualified Speech & Language Therapist looking to kick-start your career in paediatrics?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Newly Qualified Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to join a supportive and experienced team working across mainstream primary schools in North East London.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills in a nurturing environment, with a structured competency programme and ongoing supervision to support your transition into practice.

What You'll Be Doing

Working within mainstream schools, you'll support children with a range of speech, language and communication needs by:

  • Carrying out assessments and developing individual therapy programmes.
  • Delivering evidence-based speech and language interventions.
  • Supporting children within the classroom and school environment.
  • Working closely with teachers, parents and multidisciplinary professionals.
  • Contributing to EHCP assessments and reviews where appropriate.
  • Completing a structured competency framework with regular clinical supervision and mentoring.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration (or due to obtain prior to starting).
  • Newly qualified or early career Speech & Language Therapist.
  • Passion for working with children in educational settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and committed to delivering high-quality care.
  • Ability to work independently while benefiting from regular supervision and support.
