Locum Clinical Pharmacist – Kettering
£30–£34 per hour | October 2026–January 2027 | Fully on site
We are recruiting a Clinical Pharmacist for a long-term locum opportunity at a GP practice in Kettering, starting in October 2026 and running until the end of January 2027.
This role offers regular work with flexibility around your working days and start and finish times. An independent prescribing qualification is not required.
The role
You will support the practice’s clinical pharmacy workload, working alongside the primary care team to promote safe and effective use of medicines. Responsibilities may include medication reviews, medicines reconciliation, medication queries and support with repeat prescribing, with the exact workload agreed according to your experience and competencies.
Working pattern
Three, four or five days per week, up to a maximum of 37 working hours.
Seven or 7.5-hour working days, arranged between 8:30am and 6pm.
Fully on site at the practice in Kettering.
About you
GPhC-registered pharmacist with relevant clinical experience.
Previous GP practice or primary care experience would be advantageous.
SystmOne experience preferred, although candidates with EMIS-only experience may be considered.
Independent prescribing qualification not essential.
Confident communicating with patients and working alongside the practice team.
