• Job Title: Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT)
• Location: Surrey / South West London 
• Duration: Ongoing
• Schedule: Mondays & Fridays (plus Bank Holiday Tuesday cover)
• Start Date: ASAP (Ideally next Tuesday or this Friday)
• End Date: End of May (ongoing potential)
• Rate of Pay: £18 – £21 per hour (Umbrella)

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join a specialist medical cannabis prescribing pharmacy service and focus on final accuracy checking in a controlled, non-patient-facing environment. In this role, you will:

• carry out final accuracy checks of prescriptions (medical cannabis products)
• check prepared baskets presented for final sign-off – no dispensing or assembly required
• work within a structured specialist clinical service
• collaborate with a small team of ACTs and pharmacists
• ensure accuracy, compliance, and patient safety standards are met

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• ACT qualification (essential)
• previous accuracy checking experience
• strong attention to detail and compliance-focused working style
• ability to work independently in a high-responsibility checking role
• reliability for fixed weekly working days

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role requires availability on Mondays and Fridays, with Bank Holiday Tuesday cover where required. Working hours are 10:30am – 7:30pm (1-hour break) with limited flexibility. The contract runs through May, with strong potential to extend into June depending on service need.
